On Saturday June 15th, sixteen members of VSSJ enjoyed a delicious sampling of 12 items on the Greens and Grains menu.
Maria, co-owner of Greens and Grains did a fantastic job show casing their menu items with generous samples.
We started out sampling their delicious smoothies here are a few:
- Viva La Vegan with: Banana, Dates and Almond Milk, and a choice of Peanut Butter or Cacao Powder
- Acai with: Acai, Banana, Berry Blend, Almond Milk
- Pina Kalada: with Banana, Kale, Pineapple, Coconut Flakes, Coconut Water + Coconut Manna
Then we were given bowls of Hummus, Tzatziki, Buffalo Chic Pea Salad and Chic Pea Salad. All came with Pita on the side:

We all had a great time and loved the sampling so much that everyone ordered a meal to enjoy there or take it home for later:
