Veggie Jews
-
Veggie Jews is a new organization dedicated to providing a support group for Jewish
vegetarians and vegans and spreading vegetarian/vegan and animal rights
consciousness into the Jewish community. The group offers both periodic events in
local communities and, as a Yahoo group, the ability to easily communicate online
with other group members. Veggie Jews is not a singles or religious group, but single and
observant people are always welcome to participate as are our non-Jewish friends. The group
was founded in San Francisco but, thanks to volunteer hosts, events can take place
anywhere.
